A Hanoverian Waterloo Medal To Lieutenant Friedrich Von Maidel; Osnabrueck Light Battalion Auction circa 1880-90(LIEUTENANT FRIEDRICH v. MAIDEL, LEICHTE BAT. OSNABRUECK). Naming is impressed. Silver, 34. 8 mm, bruised, pitting on the edge, contact marks, better than fine. Footnote: Strength of this unit was 612 men at Waterloo and was second corps under command of Lieutenant General Lord Hill.
