This impressive whisky was distilled on the Isle of Islay in January 1984 and matured in a refill hogshead until February 2017 before being bottled by the wonderful folks at Douglas Laing for their Xtra Old Particular range (which is reserved for very special whiskies - like this one)

This is sufficiently structured and compact to need at least 3 to 5 years of keeping
