Slovakia, Independent State. A War Victory Cross Order, Vii Class Bronze Grade Medal Hold 1st Siege Battery(Vojenn vazn kr). Instituted in 1942. In bronze gilt, measuring 35. 8 mm in diameter, very light contact, original ribbon, the pinback having broken off, near extremely fine. Footnote: The War Victory Cross Order was a medal introduced by the Slovak Republic. The order was issued to Slovakian military personnel who had been in the armed forces for a minimum of four years. A total of 3,769 awards of all classes were made, of which 437 were to members
