The beautiful hilt and pommel are covered with Mammen style decorations and the leather covered grip is wrapped with twisted wire. The double edged blade is crafted in tempered high carbon EN45 steel, and it comes with a distinctive fuller. Included with the sword is a leather wrapped scabbard with a belt and a chape also based on the original find.
