Vintage Silver Necklace, Harrar Tribe, Ethiopia mottled green Czech-made "snake beads" from theLarge and heavy coin silver beads made by the Harrar people of Ethiopia. Very impressive indeed! Beads average 23mm long x 22mm diameter with 2 5mm hole. 9 wonderfully chunky beads on this strand and one with a 43mm cone attached; over 75 years old.
