Strand of Vintage 1940s Hand-Made Glass "Chevron" Beads West Africa with an approximate diameter 1"10" strand of hand made "chevron" glass beads from Ghana, Africa. Vintage hand made to resemble rare Venetian chevrons. 18 beads; average size 18mm long x 16mm diameter. A very rare type of African (rather than European) made bead; circa 1940s.
