Having designed the Rolling Stones 1970 European Tour poster while a student at the Royal College of Art, and subsequently created the band's famous tongue and lips logo the following year, John Pasche was asked by Mick Jagger to design a poster for their 1972 American Tour featuring the lips logo on their tour plane. Taking inspiration from early
